Comprilan short stretch compression bandages are 100% cotton textile elastic
specifically designed for management of edema, lymphedema, and venous insufficiency.
Unlike long stretch elastic bandages, Comprilan provides both compression and high
resistance to stretch to increase venous and lymphatic return. It is especially well
tolerated by the skin, permeable to air and absorbs perspiration. The material is
extremely durable; even sweat or ointments that penetrate into the fabric do not impair
the compressive action. Because Comprilan short stretch bandages are reusable, they are a
cost effective choice for edema management. Comprilan bandages are fixed with latex to
prevent them from fraying even after repeated washing, giving the bandage a long, useful
life.
Each box contains detailed instructions on how to apply the bandage. Two Comprilan
bandages are normally used to bandage the lower leg.
