In a relaxing and caring atmosphere, our trained professional staff will listen to you, talk with and work with you and your physician, if needed, to help you determine the necessary products you will need. One of our certified fitters will assist you with your special, personal need in any of the following areas:

MASTECTOMY
We offer a varied selection of top quality products, and the finest professional post-mastectomy fitting service to help you regain your self-confidence, self-esteem and self-image.  Our fitters/consultants are highly trained and will help you determine the proper size, shape and style that corresponds with your lifestyle in today's world.   With many years of experience in helping women create a healthy self-image, we have discovered that you can have a natural and normal lifestyle with a few minor adjustments in your wardrobe.

We can meet all your fashion needs with the traditional silicone or attachable silicone breast forms, fashionable post-mastectomy bras, and accessories.

Breast Prostheses
External silicone breast prostheses are available in various shapes and sizes.  These prostheses are by the leading manufacturers.

Preparing for a Fitting:

• Please call for an appointment.

• Plan on 45 minutes to 1 hour.  Your fitting should not be rushed.

• Bring a knit top or sweater.

• If you wish, bring a friend.

• Bring your physician's prescription.

• If you have a favorite, good support bra, you may bring this with you.

• Bring all necessary insurance information.

COMPRESSION THERAPY
We have an RN on staff who will work with your physician or therapist in determining the appropriate compression  therapy.  If you have experienced or are experiencing lymphedema following breast surgery, radiation therapy or lymphoma surgery, compression therapy can provide an effective, simple safe method for control and management.  This therapy can be performed in your home at your convenience.  Mediven sleeves (for arms), which may or may not be custom-made, can be an effective treatment for those experiencing lymphedema following mastectomy. 

We have trained fitters who will properly measure and fit you in the proper compression sleeve or garment as ordered by your physician.  There are various vascular conditions which may cause chronic edema in the lower extremities and interfere with your active lifestyle.  Custom made and over-the-counter compression stockings and/or extremity pump therapy can help you return to your normal lifestyle by controlling your edema. 

PERSONAL SERVICE
Our services are always confidential and we strive to maintain a high level of professionalism.  Our staff is prompt, courteous and helpful in filing all the necessary paperwork for insurance coverage.  Whenever possible, we will accept assignment on Medicare claims.  We will be happy to verify your insurance coverage if you have questions as to what they will assist you with in the way of benefits.
